Welcome to “Gerben’s Blog on Virtualization”.

This blog is all about virtualization. It all started in March 2007 at microsoft’s live.spaces, a couple of days before I attended my first virtualization event (VMware TSX EMEA 2007). As you run through the posts you may see a lot of VMware related posts, that because my professional focus is VMware and its products. Talking about profession, I work as a Technical Consultant (VMware VI3 Certified) focussing on Virtualization at Getronics PinkRoccade in the Netherlands. Besides VMware technology I also work and have worked with Microsoft infrastructures a lot.
